Development Plan

The project started in September 2006 and is using an Agile approach to product development. This means that the product will be developed and delivered to the customer in three phases — January 2006, May 2006 and September 2006 and places great emphasis on user involvement.

Young people between the ages of 13-16 years, those on offending behaviour programmes and those not, have been involved in all aspects of the development to date. They have worked with the project team on concept design, choice of music, usability and testing to ensure our target audience become and remain engaged throughout the programme. Photo of computer

The first increment is due for delivery by the end of January 2006. It will include the basic support infrastructure (set up of user accounts and administration features), the What Do You Think asset (one at the beginning of the order and one at the end including evaluation reporting) and a Final Warning module.

The second increment is due for delivery by the end of May 2006. This will include the first half of the modules from the RAP (Responsibility and Prevention) Programme. An offending behaviour programme based on the Maguire Principles.

The third increment is due for delivery by the end of September 2006 and will include the final modules from the RAP (Responsibility and Prevention) Programme.
